Fly in business (at a discount) to Singapore with Spontaneous Escapes

I apologize for the delay, but I had completely forgotten about Singapore Airlines' monthly offers.. Le spontaneous escapes were published on time on the 15th of the month and I forgot! mea culpa.

December's offerings

Promotions are bookable by the end of December for travel during January, so there are just under two weeks to book a ticket to fly on the world's best airline's planes in all its cabins (first class excluded).

This month's offerings include:

• The world's longest flight New York or Newark to Singapore for 78,050 miles in business class
• Singapore to Rome ( but also Frankfurt or Paris) at 72,450 miles in business class, or just under 30k points for economy

Interesting destinations certainly include flying to Bali in business for less than 15k SQ points, or to the Maldives for just over 30k.

Terms and conditions

• A 30% discount on redemption of savings awards for travel to and/or from selected destinations in January 2024.
  Redeem it online at singaporeair.com or through the SingaporeAir mobile app between December 15, 2023 and December 31, 2023.
• Flights are not refundable or changeable.
• Blackout dates apply on some routes (see the full list below for details).
• Book one-way legs if the discount applies to only one of the two (or more) flights you need. You cannot book one-way Promo awards (Spontaneous Escapes) and one-way Saver/Vantage awards in the same reservation.
• The trip must be completed by January 31, 2024.
• Book as many redemptions as you wish at Spontaneous Escapes rates-there is no limit.
• It is not possible to get on the waiting list for promotion redemptions (Spontaneous Escapes).
• For any flights cancelled by SIA, or if a flight is removed from a Spontaneous Escapes reservation due to COVID-19 and government regulatory changes, miles redeemed in the unused portion of the ticket will be refunded, at no additional cost.
• Requests to change reservation details or to keep the ticket for future use will not be accepted.
  Simply put: make sure you have firm travel plans if you are entering into an agreement with Spontaneous Escapes.
