More international flights from Italy to per easyJet In the 2024 summer timetable. After initial anticipations in recent months - involving the Naples and Pisa airports - now the British airline has announced another round of new routes with a focus on Spain and Greece. Also popping up is a route between Bari and Geneva that will start as early as May 4.

News about the Greek and Spanish islands

The absolute novelty concerns Milan Malpensa and Naples Capodichino that will see the orange-livered planes take off to the airport in Sitia, on the Greek island of Crete. In detail, the island will be connected to the Campania capital with two weekly flights, every Monday and Friday, starting June 24. The route between Milan and Crete, on the other hand, will be operated with one weekly flight, every Saturday, starting June 29.

"With the start of operations from Milan and Naples to Sitia Airport, easyJet's offer to the island of Crete is strengthened, which, for the first time ever, will see the company's international flights take off and land at all three of its airports. Starting in the summer, in fact, it will be possible to fly with easyJet from Malpensa to all three of the island's airports - Chania, Heraklion and Sitia-with the latter two airports also reachable within a handful of hours from Naples airport," the carrier's note stressed.

Also on Milan, from next March 31 easyJet will inaugurate a connection between Malpensa airport and the Atlantic island of Gran Canaria. To reach this destination-already also connected with Naples International Airport since last year-the British airline will offer a weekly flight, available every Sunday.

Flights from Bari and Pisa

From May 4, as mentioned above, the connection from the international airport of Bari towards Geneva, operating for Apulian passengers up to three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Spain remains at the center of the British carrier's attentions. In fact, last year saw the launch of new Milan Malpensa-La Coruña routes, with a twice-weekly frequency, and on October 29, 2023, the aforementioned Naples-Gran Canaria (both confirmed for 2024).

From June 26, however, it will be the turn of the new route between the airport of Pisa and the Barcelona stopover, operated every Wednesday and Saturday. easyJet has invested heavily in Pisa, as it also launched a route to two major European capitals during this season: Paris Charles De Gaulle e Port.

The announcement of the new routes is accompanied by the "Super Discounts" promotion which, until midnight Feb. 5, makes 300,000 seats available on easyJet flights to and from Italy at discounted prices of 20%. The promotion is valid to purchase tickets for flights until next November 30, 2024.

Flights to Israel resume

Finally, among the new routes, a comeback also pops up. The British airline, in fact, has announced the restoration of routes to Israel starting next March 1. Among them will be the restart of the Milan-Tel Aviv.

easyJet, like most European airlines had discontinued last October the connections to Israel because of the Israeli army's invasion of the Gaza Strip and the resulting security dangers that affected (and in part continue to affect) the entire geographic area.

The network on Milan

Finally, also from Milan Malpensa, the new connection to the French city of Toulouse. The flight will be operated with two weekly flights every Monday and Friday. This connection expands the portfolio of destinations that can be reached from the Milan airport.
