There is a loyalty program that allows you to earn and accumulate miles with the loyalty programs of major airlines.

Best Western Rewards, connected to a circuit of more than 4,500 hotels and resorts in 100 countries around the world, it is a very simple and intuitive program, and for those who frequent these facilities very often for work or leisure, it can be useful for earning miles with many airlines.
The Best Western Rewards program
In fact, the Best Western Rewards model provides two alternatives:
- Accumulate points (10 points for every dollar spent on a stay) which can then be used for qualifying reservations at hotels, rewards, discounts or conversion to miles id some carriers;
- accumulate miles directly with a number of programs that are part of the circuit (including Air France-KLM's Flying Blue, Lufthansa's Miles & More, Turkish's Miles & Smiles, among others) with a certain number of miles earned for each stay.
The Best Western Rewards program offers four different levels of Elite status (Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Diamond Select).
To obtain an Elite Status, you must necessarily accumulate the required number of nights,
- Gold (5 eligible overnight stays)
- Platinum (7 eligible nights)
- Diamond (15 eligible overnight stays)
- Diamond Select (25 eligible overnight stays)
As with almost all loyalty programs, as a member with Elite Status, you receive bonus points for each stay qualifying; that is:
- members who have achieved Gold Elite status receive a point bonus of 10%;
- Platinum Elite status receives a point bonus of 15%;
- Diamond Elite status receives a point bonus of 30%;
- Diamond Select status receive a bonus of 50% points.

Earn miles with BW Rewards
In the process of registration for the Best Western Rewards program - but also at a later stage - you can decide to accumulate airline miles exclusively (instead of dots) for a whole range of programs, through a fixed pattern that we show below.
If you choose this option, simply choose in your account section the loyalty program and enter your membership number.
Basically, for each stay (regardless of the number of nights) you earn 500 miles/points For Aeroflot's loyalty programs, Lufthansa Miles & More, South African Airways and Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles.
Similarly, you gain 250 miles per stay if you decide to credit them in Aeroplan's loyalty programs, Air France/KLM Flying Blue, Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan, Asiana Club, Avianca, China Southern Sky Pearl Club, Hainan Airlines, SAS EuroBonus, United Mileage Plus.
In addition, it is possible to enter more than one card/airline and choose from time to time where to accumulate migla.
The conversion is advantageous especially in early cases (500 miles) and for those who often stay in Best Western Hotels for a few nights (one or two at most).
There is also the possibility of accumulating points BW Rewards and convert them to miles at a later date, but in this case the offer is not particularly attractive.
With 5,000 points-i.e. 5 thousand dollars spent on stays (BW when crediting points operates the euro-dollar conversion based on the daily exchange rate) - you earn, for example, only 1,000 Flying Blue points.
ITA's partnership with Volare
For those who fly frequently with ITA Airways, however, there is a special advantage. In Best Western hotels (only in Italy, however, where Best Western is present with 170 facilities anyway) you can accumulate 600 Flying points, the loyalty program of ITA Airways, for each stay made.

Status match always open
Another way to quickly accumulate points and immediately achieve Diamond status with Best Western is the possibility of Status Match with other hotel chain loyalty programs.
Just fill out this online form and be enrolled in the BW Rewards program to equalize the status of other chain loyalty programs such as Marriott Rewards, Choice Privileges, Hilton HHonor, Starwood Preferred, Hyatt, and Radisson.
Technically, the Status Match is always open year-round and available for all types of levels. Then simply fax or e-mail the copy of the elite loyalty card and the completed and signed form.
