These days, owners of the ITA Airways Executive level, the highest in the Volare loyalty program, are receiving a package containing the new physical card at home.
ITA Airways is one of the very few companies in the world that still sends physical cards to loyal passengers' homes, an object much loved by frequent flyers, but sacrificed by companies in the name of the prevailing greenwashing.
Compared with the first "box" This year frequent flyers get a card envelope at home and no gadgets.
I have to give kudos to the marketing guys (and to the CEO of Volare SPA) for maintaining the tradition of sending and also for creating really beautiful and elegant packaging. It almost looks like that of a "premium" credit card. The box has attention to detail and is not a thrifty product.
Unfortunately, no personalized luggage tag, but we at TFC took care of this shortcoming by creating customized labels for all the "orphans" of the companies' products.
For all frequent flyers ( and more). you can request a custom label to clip onto one's luggage/backpack, a way to always be tracked as well as to identify oneself among TFC readers when out and about in the world.
