Rain of bonuses for Miles&More members, how to make thousands of points with everyday spending

Miles&More is one of the most popular programs in Italy, the Lufthansa Group frequent flyer is also one of the most active lately when it comes to bonus points for its members. 

Right now there are a number of promotions that can allow you to accumulate over 50k points, enough for a business class ticket, aboard Lufthansa, Swiss and other airlines' planes.

12k bonus points if you apply for the Miles&More Gold Mastercard

Until the end of April All users who will apply for the new Mastercard Gold Miles&More will receive 12 thousand bonus points upon issuance of the card. It will not be necessary to reach any spending ceiling, but making a transaction, even one euro, will trigger the bonus. The card is free for the first six months and will cost €6/month from the 7th. The best benefit of the card, besides earning miles with any spending, is that it using it will renew the validity of miles&more indefinitely without worrying about the expiration of points.

6X bonus with Sixt rentals

Car rentals have, since time immemorial, been a great accelerator of point collections. In this case for all rentals booked by the end of March will earn 6 M&M miles for every euro spent. The promotion is valid for rentals of 2 to 27 days worldwide made by June 2024 (excluding 29.03.2024 - 07.04.2024).

Lots of bonuses with hotel reservations

Of course at the moment the November's X30 was not replicated, but there are interesting promotions in several hotel chains to accumulate thousands of bonus points with stays in Germany and the rest of the world.

Miles&More users can accumulate 8 miles for every US dollar spent.  As a reminder, a maximum of 9 rooms per completed stay can be booked to earn miles per participant. The offer is valid for bookings made from 01.03. to 31.03.2024 and stays from 01.03. to 31.05.2024.

In the chain hotels Best Western, Miles&More holders can earn 1,500 miles per stay, of any amount. The promotion is valid until 04/30/2024 for stays in Best Western hotels in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Croatia, Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovenia. The reservation must be made exclusively from the LH site.

Consecutive nights in the same hotel always count as ONE stay, even if the nights are booked separately. This means that, for example, for a stay of two consecutive nights in the same hotel, only one set of bonus miles will be awarded.

Bonus miles can only be awarded to the Miles & More service card holder if he/she has checked into the hotel himself/herself and will only be awarded for the room occupied by the Miles & More participant.

A final offer allows for the following 750 M&M miles for each night stayed by March 31 in the following hotels: H+ Hotel & SPA Engelberg, H+ Hotel Zurich, H4 Hotel Solothurn, HYPERION Hotel Basel. H4 Hotel Arcadia Locarno is bookable from March 15, 2024 and under the promotion until March 31, 2024.
