Korean's home is T2 at Seoul Incheon Airport. , not to be confused with the Seoul Gimpo, despite this there is also a small lounge of the Korean flag carrier in Terminal 1 as well.

Location

This lounge Is located past the security checkpoint near Gate 27, right in front of the oneworld's newest lounge which opened just a few days before I passed through this airport.

I even tried to ask the staff if they would let me take a peek, but there was just no way I could poke around inside this newcomer.

Access

At check-in for the Vietnam Airlines flight bound for Ho Chi Min I was given an invitation to visit this lounge, a custom that happens often, this lounge welcomes not only Skyteam Élite Plus passengers but also business class ticket holders departing from this terminal.

The strange thing, which also sent me into confusion, is. All other Skyteam companies depart from T2.

The lounge

The room is a very bright open space due to the fact that in addition to overlooking the outside, it is completely open to the terminal being on the upper floor of the store area.

It is not very large, but it is tastefully furnished and the type of seating is also complete.

As soon as you enter, there is a large table in front of the buffet area that is perfect for working or eating with friends.

Seating identifies the various areas of the lounge. There are cubicle solutions where you can isolate yourself from everyone and other solutions where you can be in company. There is a more secluded and quiet area, or seating from which to admire the movements on the floor. To each his own.

The nice thing is that each seat has at least 1 outlet to hook into.

Services

Immediately in front of the entrance is an area with lockers where you can leave your bags, a very convenient solution that should be required by law in every lounge.

There are massage chairs in the quieter corner of the lounge.

There is a private room to have a meeting, or watch a game on the big screen.

There are restrooms, showers, and even a nursery room designed for families with young children.

Food & Beverage

I came by early in the morning, but as always in airports and lounges the local time is not necessarily the passenger's time. So it's all there, including alcohol.

Of course the menu was the typical breakfast menu, but if you wanted, you could also have lunch or dinner there with some items on offer.

In conclusion

Full Sufficiency, sure I would have preferred to see the T2 lounges, and (had I known) I might have even gone there since the two terminals are connected via satellite.

That is, it is possible to move once past security between the two terminals without having to take the endless bus that connects the two terminals.

The verdict
If it were a Priority Pass it would be great, being an official lounge raises the bar. Good thing it exists since there are no independent lounges in this terminal and not all Skyteam carriers depart from the terminal at Korean
