It may be that in Jeddah they can already feel the breath of Riyadh Air, the 'rival' company that will launch operations in mid-2025, with an on-board product that promises to be top-notch. Or that they have read that 2024 will be the year of new business classes, for the large number of entirely new cabins that some of the world's leading airlines are about to debut.
The fact is. Saudia, after re-branding the liveries of its aircraft. with a somewhat retro but very cool style reminiscent of that of the company in the 1980s, announced A partnership with the giant Collins Aerospace following which Will renovate cabins and seats of all its Boeing 787s, Boeing 777s and Airbus A330s.
This will take place starting with Dreamliners to be delivered from 2026 onward and from the Business Class product, which will receive A resounding upgrade through the installation of private suites, according to the trend that is all the rage in the skies today.
The Jeddah-based company also specified that. Interior renewal of B777 and A330 interiors will begin in 2025 and end in 2027.

Currently Saudia, one of the few 'dry' (i.e., not serving alcohol on board), Fly medium and long haul with a fleet consisting of 35 Boeing 777-300ERs, 9 Boeing 787-10s, 12 Boeing 787-9s, and 36 Airbus A330-300s, in addition to seven A320s outfitted with 20 lie-flat seats in Business Class.
The 777s are outfitted in several two-class configurations (Business and Economy), but 8 are three-class with 12 seats in First, 36 in Business and 242 in Economy.
The 787s are all in two classes, with the -10 having 24 seats in Business and 333 in Economy and the -9 accommodating 24 seats in Business and 274 in Economy.
The A330s are all in two classes, but with different configurations. The newest in-flight product in Business Class is the Collins Super Diamond seat fitted on the 787.
In Italy, Saudia flies from Jeddah to Rome Fiumicino and Milan Malpensa with a mix of A320s e Boeing 787-9, which are usually 'shifted' according to season with a preference for wide bodies during the winter months.
