The countdown to the start of summer has officially begun and ITA Airways Is ready to ply the skies around the world with its blue planes. ITA Airways has some very interesting news in store for passengers. In addition to flights to Algiers and Tunis (operated, both, with 2 flights per day from Rome-Fiumicino), ITA Airways - effective June 6 - will also begin flying to Accra: initially 3 flights per week will be operated, then July through the end of October will be increased to 4 weekly frequencies.
From July 3, then - as we have already written - Direct flights to Dakar will start with 4 frequencies per week (also in the winter season). Both flights will be operated with the new Airbus A321neo configured in 3 classes: 141 seats in economy (of which 12 are dedicated to comfort economy), 12 seats in premium economy e 12 seats in business class.
Middle East
Starting May 5, the Italian flag carrier will begin flying from Rome to Riyadh: will start with 4 frequencies a week which will become 5, then, from June 3; again, as with the Rome-Dakar route, frequencies will remain as such during the winter season.
From June 7, again, direct flights to Kuwait City will also kick off.: until July 7, passengers will have 4 flights per week, after which - until the end of March 2025 - weekly frequencies will become 5. Dulcis in fundo, From August 1, the flights to Jeddah: There will be 3 flights per week until March 29, 2025.
In the past few hours, also, ITA has announced that starting this month it will enhance - with 2 additional frequencies - direct connections between the airport of Tokyo-Haneda and Rome-Fiumicino airport: in total, then, Passengers will have one flight per day to fly to and from Japan, a strategic market for both business and leisure traffic.
The new operative, unique Direct connection between Italy and Japan, provides, therefore, the departure from Tokyo 12:25 p.m. (local time) And arrival in Rome at 8:10 p.m. (local time); in the reverse leg, instead, takeoff from Rome is scheduled for 2:55 p.m. (local time) And landing in Tokyo at 10:25 a.m. (local time).
As for other destinations, ITA Airways will continue to connect Rome and Tel Aviv with 3 daily frequencies (which over the summer should become 4 consistent with the geopolitical scenario); Finally, daily flights to Cairo will remain unchanged. (carried out with the new A31neo) and New Delhi (with the A330neo).
International routes
