If you are among those who enjoy hiking, here you can take advantage of all the trails provided by two wonderful nature parks, the one Vedrette di Ries-Aurina and that Fanes-Senes-Braies.

But hiking is not, as mentioned, the only sporting option for those in this area. For example, on May 18, 2024, the exceptional Kronplatz Bike Park, which with its 17 trails is considered the kingdom of mountain biking. Here on August 31, 2024, the prestigious and adrenaline-pumping marathon of MTB Kronplatz King in which beginner bikers and famous athletes take part.

Not far from Chienes, there is the sports zone of Reischach (near the town of Bruneck); you can go here if you love golf; in fact, you will find waiting for you the Val Pusteria Golf Club with 9 holes and which could be increased to 18 holes. The golf course is set in a truly beautiful natural landscape.

Then, when the summer months arrive, in the Plan de Corones ski area it will also be possible to rafting; in fact, in these parts there are several rivers and streams suitable for the practice of this adrenaline sport.
