Friend Matteo Forti pointed me to an interesting promotion reserved for British Airways Executive club members that allows them to earn 10 avios points for every euro spent on all bookings made through BA's dedicated travel portal.
As I always remember it these promotions are to be taken advantage of if you are booking in hotels of which you do not have a status or you accumulate points, because with bookings made through intermediaries will not get benefits and the stay will not count toward the elite level.
