Beijing Daxing Airport (PKX) is the new airport in the Chinese capital. Built to give breath to the historic Beijing Captal (PEK) that has now reached a level of saturation that is no longer sustainable

To say it is a crazy construction is to belittle it, along with Istanbul and Abu Dhabi is definitely the most beautiful air terminal I have ever seen.
Did you get your flight cancelled, miss your connection, land late?
You could get up to 600€ compensation per person
Like all hotels near airports, this Fairfield, is designed precisely to come to the aid of passengers who have an early morning or late evening flight. In my case it was the need to find a roof for a few hours since my flight was leaving at 2 am.
Of course I could have also stayed around the capital of China, but I honestly didn't feel like it and given the low cost of the room I preferred to use it as a base for a few hours (and also accumulate a night and a few points), although I admit that for a couple of minutes I had thought about booking one of these capsules on the ground floor of the terminal.
Reservation
I booked from the app, at the last minute. I also admit that a strong push for this reservation. Has been offering qualifying double nights. With less than 60€ I put two nights and 1000 bonus points in my pocket, I would say a very good investment.
Location
It is just outside the terminal and offers a free h24 shuttle service. I arrived by fast train from downtown Beijing, the business class ride costs 50 yuan, I did not choose the fare, but I probably should have been more careful about the clicks on the machine selling tickets.
In any case, the trip takes less than 20 minutes and you arrive inside the airport. To take the shuttle you need to call the hotel (or chat via app) . For pick up you need to go to the 4th floor (the international departures floor) and exit at door 3.
The bus took a little while to arrive, I didn't understand why since the hotel is really in front of the terminal.
Check-in and room
I arrive I hand over my passport and credit card and they inform me that. I was also upgraded. The hotel is in a block of buildings that are all identical; there is also a Hilton Garden Inn and a couple of other facilities near this hotel.
My room was on the 6th and last floor, the last one at the end of the corridor opposite the elevator.
The room was really beautiful, the huge window with a view of the-nothing because of fog-was beautiful and reminded me of the room in the Waldorf Astoria in Bangkok.
For a Fairfield we're at a very high level, or maybe it's the American hotels in this chain that are shoddy, because when I think of the ones I've been to in Asia such as Kuala Lumpur they are hotels I would recommend to anyone.
The room has everything and more. A nice bathroom with walkin shower, Japanese toilet seat.
A nice hallway area, with an open closet and all the classic amenities.
The room, besides the beautiful view, has a nice king bed and good pillows. A small work nook and nice finishes and even some design cues.
The structure
On the ground floor there is a small self-service store to buy some snacks. On the ground floor there is a laundry room for guests' use.
A small gymnasium open H24.
A relaxation area behind the reception, in short these hotels are essential, near airports even more so.
In conclusion
He did his dirty work, I certainly don't recommend booking here if you want to visit Beijing, but if you need a foothold near the airport is a certainty.
