The advantage is. To have status with the second largest chain in the world is very easy, the disadvantage is that this generosity turns into a large number of elite customers around the hotels resulting in a devaluation of the value of status.
I say it is a disadvantage, compared with, for example, Bovoy, because having so many people who easily have an elite level consequently reduce the benefits that travelers they get around the world.
While you can easily achieve the Diamond level, then you cannot complain about the crowded lounges or the Failure to obtain suite upgrade.

Hilton Honors often offers fast track and status matches to easily obtain the elite level. And this campaign is an evergreen, open almost year-round.
- You can become Gold with only 8 nights stay within 90 days of thecampaign registration

Equivalent status in one of the major competing chains is required to participate in the challenge. On the list are Marriott, IHG, Hyatt, Best Western & Choice, but the door is left open to other programs as well.

- If you apply for MS. you get the Gold level for 90 days, and from here the run-up begins
