"Northern Europe is the market we look to most for traffic development," stresses Francis D'Amico, General Manager of Genoa Airport - and the return of SAS, which we thank for deciding to invest in our region again with a direct flight from Copenhagen, gives us hope. Our goal is to enhance direct connections for the benefit of the local economy, and to do this we count on the cooperation of all stakeholders interested in increasing tourist flows. The other strategic objective is the recovery of connections with major intercontinental hubs, which is of particular interest to Ligurian companies that need to travel to Europe and the rest of the world."
The return of SAS to Genoa airport will enable the many travelers from Liguria to reach not only Denmark: with a stopover in Copenhagen, in fact, it will be possible to fly from Christopher Columbus to Oslo, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Aalborg, Stavanger, Bergen, Trondheim, and even Hamburg.
