Sleeping in hotels in New York City reached prices that put Tokyo and the Maldives to shame, especially When you consider the general quality of certain facilities around The Big Apple. Sometimes oddities happen, however, such as one of the most popular hotels in a chain "night time" switching to competitors, is the case of the former Conrad Midtown Manhattan that has now become the The Luxury Collection Hotel Manhattan Midtown.
For location, style, and service this hotel has always been one of the most booked with Hilton Honors points, and now that it has moved to the opposing team it is logical to expect the same situation. What I did not expect, however, was to see prices for nights booked with the points so low.
It is possible to book stays from September through the year 2025 from as low as 34k points per night, a rate never seen for a hotel of this type, but incredibly lower than even lower-category Marriott hotels around New York City.
Needless to mention. thanks to the 5th night free the final price for a 5-night stay drops to 27,200 Bonvoy points per night.
The minimum price, per night, is approximately 530$ per night plus tax, so the same stay paid cash would cost a minimum of $3,000.
