Air of news for ITA Airways business class passengers, The distribution of new amenity kits on board medium- and long-haul flights began a few days ago. The Italian national airline continues its collaboration with QC Terme and also continues the tradition, more unique than rare, of delivering aboard its aircraft not one but two small trousseaus.
Changing in form and content is the Spa of wonders branded handbag, a QCterme brand.
Giulia had explained (and used) the products from the old trousse on her very first time aboard ITA Airways business class and was pleased with the creams.
So goodbye to the envelope/towel that until a few weeks ago was given to all premium passengers replaced now by a more traditional jute bag.
The products and packaging also change. In the previous version the tubes were aluminum, now they are plastic. Comparing the old kit with the new one, the hair conditioner is missing, replaced by the sanitizing gel.
Not only ITA is, in my memory, the only company that gives away two kits, but is also one of the most generous in terms of products. I have never found shampoo or shower foam in other kits delivered on board, as well as the relaxing mask, found in the other bag, is a never-seen addition.
It's just a pity that it is aesthetically sad and small, thus not very functional in terms of reusability.
