There will be one less 'first time' in the 'next madness' of the 'Poodle' Matteo Rainisio. On his journey that will take him to Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. there will in fact be no 'first time' on ITA Airways' A321neo to a medium-haul destination.
ITA Airways has cancelled Kuwait City from its network.

And then there is the fact that while ITA's A321neo is perhaps the 'coolest' single-aisle aircraft around, Kuwait Airways uses a two-class A320neo to Rome where the Business is certainly not 1-1 with lie-flat seats like ITA's, but a much more common 2+2 with seats that recline, albeit with far more legroom than in Economy.

We will see if, shortly after Dubai connection launched (which will trigger next October 27.), ITA will soon replace Kuwait City with another destination in the Middle East or Africa (but always within the 6-7 hour flight time, which is the maximum range of its neos that, let us remember, are not 'LR,' i.e., long-range).
There are currently five airplanes in the fleet (with two more expected in the coming months): after the 'Maximilian Rosolino' delivered in November 2023 came the'Edward Mangiarotti' to December 2023, the 'Gigi Datome' to February 2024, the'Elisa Di Francisca' in March and the 'Christian Vieri' in May.
ITA's schedule currently has them engaged in. on Rome-Riyadh (five times a week) and on the Rome-Accra (three times a week) as far as the mid-range is concerned, where Dakar will be added from July 3 (4 times a week) followed by Jeddah on August 1 (three times a week), waiting for Dubai (which will be daily) to start on October 27.
But the 321neo are continuing to fly in European skies and the Mediterranean basin, given theo extraordinary success achieved among frequent flyers from a unique cabin by comfort level, with 12 seats in Business in 1-1 configuration, 12 in Premium Economy (2-2) and 141 in Economy (of which 12 in Economy Comfort, with more legroom).
Thus, in June, it is possible to fly the 321neo Once a day from Rome to Amsterdam, Madrid and Cairo and as many as twice a day from Rome to Tel Aviv, the route on which the plane was supposed to debut last December before the war between Israel and Hamas caused all European airlines to stop flights to Ben Gurion Airport.
