TFC readers will have noticed a significant increase in the number of articles talking about Miles&More, the loyalty program of Lufthansa and all group airlines, the reason is not only the upcoming marriage with ITA Airways, but it is mainly related to a considerable interest that this program attracts from Italian frequent flyers.
Certainly an important role is played by the the Miles&More Gold Mastercard a credit card that allows you to turn any spending made with the card into points, but in addition to this there are the many offers that the FF German has been launching in recent months. Whether the X30 with Booking will remain, probably, in history as the best promotion ever that starts tomorrow, July 1, is still potentially better.
A stellar multiplier for shopping at Munich airport
From July 1 to Aug. 31, upon registration of the offer, you can earn 21 bonus miles over and above what you would normally earn at participating stores. For activate the promotion you need to go to the dedicated page and log in.
You will also receive an email on the mailbox linked to your Miles&More account to confirm activation. You will then need to show your m&M card at the store during purchase to receive credit.
One small detail is missing, namely the basic accumulation. Looking at what happens in Frankfurt, however, you get 1 M&M mile for every euro spent, this then leads to 21 M&M miles for every euro spent at the airport in Munich. Of course Rolex is missing among the participating stores, but if you really are going to buy a Chanel bag, a Mont Blanc or a Ralph Lauren dress perhaps it would be better to take a ticket to fly to Munich and shop at the airport and, in addition to the shopping bags, return home with a cariole of points.
