L'A380 is my favorite plane, I think I have written and said this countless times. I have made it my goal to fly over as many giants of the skies as possible, because their days are numbered and because no A321xlr will ever allow companies to install such devilry.
In September, I will be on Asiana's special flight from Barcelona to Seoul precisely because for only two flights the A380 will be used and not the A350. This year I will also fly on Singapore's, Etihad's, and I have already flown on Emirates' and Lufthansa's.
Fewer and fewer carriers are missing from the roll call: of those flying I have yet to try Qantas and Korean, waiting to see if Global is a resounding fake or the underdog of the skies.
One of the Most exclusive features on board A380s are definitely the bathrooms with private showers, an option found on board two airlines, Emirates and Etihad.
All carriers placed the toilets in the same place, but the space was handled differently from carrier to carrier. Personally, after EK the most beautiful ones are aboard Singapore Airlines.
On board Lufthansa's A380s, Which will soon be renovated in the interior, however, there is one thing that has never been seen on board an aircraft before and that no other carrier has even thought of copying.
Passengers can "play" to score, despite the disturbances, either in the regular toilet or in the urinal embedded in the wall and, hidden from view behind a flap.
In the two upstairs bathrooms, accessible only to first class passengers there are urinals, as in the most classic "toilet" at the stadium or in the pub down the street. Personally, I find it a smart idea and would love to find them in economy on other planes as well.
