Yesterday, June 12, the linkage resumed. Doha-Venice operated by Qatar Airways: After Milan and Rome, the lagoon city is the third Italian city in the Qatari carrier's network.
The Gulf company's last time in Venice was in 2020: Covid's pandemic had caused the cancellation of the operation, which is now, finally, back in operation again; the many Italian (and other) passengers will thus be able to reach not only Doha but also many other destinations offered by Qatar's network.
Thierry Antinori, Chief Commercial Officer of Qatar Airways, said: "With the start of the summer season, we are excited to resume our daily service to Venice. Italy is a key market for Qatar Airways and we are committed to providing our passengers with more travel opportunities and seamless connections to explore this wonderful country and to enable Italian travelers to easily reach the destinations in our network".
Flight QR126 is scheduled to depart Venice at 4:50 p.m. and arrive in Doha at 11:10 p.m. (local time); on the reverse leg, however, flight QR125 will take off from Hamad International Airport at 9:00 a.m. and land in the lagoon at 2:20 p.m. (local time). The Venice-Doha route will have a daily frequency and will be operated by a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner set up in two classes of service, business class (with 22 seats, but no QSuite) and economy (with 232 seats).
