More than 4 years have passed since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic that, among other misfortunes, also caused the cancellation of flights from Milan (and Rome) to Bangkok operated by THAI Airways. Now, however, as announced in recent months, the Thai company is ready to return to the Italian market: from the July 1 next will restart the daily connections between Milan (MXP) e Bangkok (BKK). Flight TG941 is scheduled to depart from Milan at 14:05 and arrive in Bangkok at 05:55 (local time); on the reverse leg, takeoff from BKK is scheduled at 00:40 and landing in Malpensa is at 07:35 (local time).

Daily flights will be operated with the Boeing 787 Dreamliner of THAI, configured in two classes: 240 economy and 24 business seats, which the Thai company calls "Royal Silk Class". No first class: THAI's only aircraft with first class are Boeing 777-300ERs, used on routes to London and Japan.
Passengers who choose to travel in Royal Silk Class (configured with a 2-2-2 layout) will be able to enjoy, among other things, a vast and interesting culinary offering curated by the star chef Duangporn Songvisava, known as Chef Bo.
Tickets to fly from Milan to Bangkok are already available for purchase: to fly economy (one-way) starts from €890,32 and includes change of reservation, 35Kg checked baggage, 7kg carry-on baggage, and choice of seat (for ticket refund, however, penalties apply).
The Royal Silk Class starts at a price of. €1808,60: the standard fare entitles you to 40 kg checked baggage, 7 kg carry-on baggage, seat selection, priority boarding and lounge access; the "flexi" fare-whose price rises to €2083.60-offers the same options plus free rebooking.

The resumption of direct flights between Milan and Bangkok is great news for the Italian market: thanks to THAI's network, Italian passengers will be able to reach Several destinations in Southeast Asia and the Far East.
