Guardia di Finanza announces competitions for 15 music band performers

The Guardia di Finanza has published public competitions for qualifications and examinations intended for the inclusion of 15 performers in the Guardia di Finanza Music Band, with separate procedures for each part and qualification. The notice describes the division of positions between First, Second and Third parts, specifying the instruments required for each part: First parts A include 1st Clarinet Soprano in Bb No. 1 (soloist), 1st Trumpet in high Bb No. 1 and 1st Flugelhorn Sopranino in Eb; First parts B provide for the Cassa with the requirement of Timpani, Xylophone, Celeste and Vibraphone; Second parts A include 1st Flugelhorn Soprano in Bb No. 2 and 2nd Bb Tenor Flugelhorn (with the obligation of Bb Bass Flugelhorn); Second Parts B include 2nd Flute (with the obligation of Piccolo), 1st Bb Soprano Clarinet no. 8 and 2nd Tenor Trombone; Third Parts A include 1st Bb Soprano Clarinet no. 10 and 2nd Bb Soprano Clarinet No. 4; Third Parts B include 3rd Flute (with the obligation of the Piccolo), 2nd Bb Soprano Clarinet No. 7, 2nd Bb Soprano Clarinet No. 8 and 5th Horn. Participation is also allowed for multiple parts and instruments. Serving military personnel in the Guardia di Finanza Corps who have not exceeded 45 years of age may participate. Italian citizens, including those already at arms, who are between 18 and 40 years of age on the application deadline date (by noon on Nov. 15, 2025), with an increase of five years for military personnel of the Armed Forces, Police Forces and the National Fire Department in active service, may participate in the competition. All applicants must possess, by the deadline date, the following qualifications: secondary education diploma allowing enrollment in degree programs in state or legally recognized universities; diploma in the instrument for which one is competing or related instrument, obtained in a state conservatory or similar legally recognized institution. The application must be completed exclusively through the online procedure available on the portal https://concorsi.gdf.gov.it, following the instructions of the automated system. To submit the application, competitors must use one of the following authentication tools: SPID or Enter with CIE, the latter with the electronic identity card issued by the municipality of residence. After completing registration on the portal, candidates can fill out the application form accessible from the restricted area and submit it following the automated procedure.
