At present, the American chain has one hotel in the vicinity of the airport in the province of Varese: the Garden Inn, which is located in Somma Lombardo. The new Doubletree will be slightly further away from the airport, as it will rise in Solbiate Olona.
This is not a new structure
As the map shows, the hotel is not a newly built facility but is an existing hotel that will become part of the Hilton family starting next February 14. At the moment, however, it is not yet bookable, so the rates are not known.

The facility, which is currently closed and probably undergoing renovation, belonged to the Le Robine group and is part of the complex that features a golf course of the same name with an attached resort.
The hotel's website is no longer online, as are the pages on major online booking sites, e.g., Tripadvisor. On Expedia, however, the property is present and has already been renamed DoubleTree.
Equipped with 246 rooms, it is certainly a most interesting addition to the Hilton portfolio in the Milan area, not least because of the opportunity to access the golf course and take advantage of the indoor pool. Of course, here, too, you will be able to Stay for free using HHonors points.
