On Tuesday we reported on the revolution in the Qatari house: goodbye Qmiles and hello Avios. Now, with the adoption of points from the same program as British Airways and Iberia, it becomes enormously easier to book an award ticket in QSuites, viz. The expected revolution was that of Qatar points, no one expected that at the same time BA would cut the cost of booking award tickets in this way. With a 2022 off to the worst possible start with devaluations and increases in fuel surcharges, this news is destined to transform, probably, Avios points in the best currency on the European market and beyond.
