Marriott continues to focus on Italy. It will increase the number of the brand's hotels in our territory in the coming years. Plans are already underway. In fact, the company has announced that it has signed off on the construction of two new W Hotels in Italy, specifically in Milan and Naples. The wait will last for a few more years, with expected opening to the public during 2024. News that, as mentioned, highlights the clear intention to continue a profitable expansion in the Bel Paese. Suffice it to say that the most recent launches of W Hotels in Italy are definitely recent. They are Rome and Florence in 2021.

We are pleased to be able to respond to the growing demand for hotels with a luxurious style." As for W Milano - Duomo, the location will be truly strategic. The new hotel will be in the heart of the Fashion District. A prime location, to say the least, enhanced by the brand's distinctive design. Whoever decides to stay in this new facility will Marriott, starting in 2024, will not only be able to take advantage of the benefits provided within the hotel, but also find themselves within walking distance of the city's main cultural sites: Piazza Duomo, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele and Teatro della Scala, to name a few. Considering then how W Hotel winks at those clientele who love a luxurious style, one cannot avoid pointing out how the famous Via Montenapoleone (Milan's shopping street) is just a three-minute walk away.

Work will be carried out inside a structure dating back to the 1920s that originally began as a bank. The design has been entrusted to Milan-based Stefano Boeri Architetti and international design firm Yabu Pushelberg. The work program calls for a total of 166 rooms and 36 suites, including a Extreme WOW Suite. The project also includes the WET deck that fans of the brand are familiar with. In this case it will offer a panoramic view of the Duomo. On the rooftop there will also be space for a bar, a W Lounge and a fine restaurant with sophisticated cuisine. All with panoramic views of the historic center, so as to ensure the perfect aperitif or dinner. A space dedicated to wellness could not be missing: there will be a 380-square-meter spa, with an indoor pool and fitness center.
W Hotels in Naples
W Naples will open its doors in 2024 in Town Hall Square. Again, as with Milan, the location was once a bank. There will be a total renovation, which will safeguard the historic facade. The hotel aims to be a kind of gateway to the city, introducing guests to its huge historic center, the size of which is record-breaking. In just a few steps one can find oneself in the ancient Via Toledo, where one can admire historic buildings and indulge in shopping and, why not, good food. Also within a short distance are the Umberto I Gallery and the San Carlo Theater, which is among the city's UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

The chosen location offers a sea view, being a short distance from Molo Beverello, where one can dine and perhaps board a hydrofoil for a trip to Capri, Positano, Ischia and beyond. The W Napoli will have 78 rooms, including 17 suites. Many of these with private terraces. The interior transformation has been entrusted to the Rockwell Group. Again, a fine dining restaurant, a W Lounge, and a fitness center are planned.
