Wizz Air announces new expansion from Rome: five new routes in 2023

At a press conference held in recent days, Wizz Air announced in recent days a'further expansion from Rome Fiumicino, assigning two of the latest Airbus A321neo aircraft to its base in the Italian capital.

With the addition of two new Airbus A321neo aircraft and the launch of five new routes from Rome to Europe and the Middle East, as of today Wizz Air will offer 800,000 more seats, guaranteeing new and more low-fare services from Italy's capital. This continued expansion further strengthens Wizz Air's position as the third largest airline in Italy, which becomes the fastest growing market in the airline's network. We currently offer a total of 66 routes to and from Rome, providing connections to 36 countries in Europe and beyond."
