No more access to London Clubhouse for those with Gold status with Singapore Airlines

The business class lounge most inaccessible in the world is undoubtedly also one of the best in the world and is called the Clubhouse, is located at London Heathrow terminal 3 and is the home of Virgin Atlantic's lucky Upper Class passengers.
In this article:
Since last spring VS has become a full member of Skyteam we have done nothing but talk about the possibility, for the ordinary mortals, to log in in the lounge in the airport busiest in England.
Since then, however, the rules have changed several times, starting with the cold shower in which Virgin Atlantic had announced that the London lounge would not be joining the Skyteam lounge network, a way to Leaving passengers on a London Amsterdam or London Fiumicino flight out the door. operated by the many Skyteam carriers operating at Heathrow.
Did you get your flight cancelled, miss your connection, land late?
You could get up to 600€ compensation per person
With the latest rules update, the 4th since the beginning of the year, the options for access have been further reduced, and today's is one that touches me personally since it affects one of the statuses I have in my portfolio.
There has always been a partnership between Virgin Atlantic and Singapore Airlines., despite being competitors in terms of alliances, the two carriers have maintained a relationship especially in terms of frequent flyer with the possibility of accumulating points on flights and using the points to issue award tickets.
With this rule update Gone is the ability for passengers with Gold status in the Krisflyer program to access the lounge. Also gone over the months were the facilities for Skyteam Elite+ statue holders and also those linked to other partners such as Air New Zealand and Virgin Australia.
Basically, as you can see in the image above, access to what I consider to be the one of the 3 best lounges in the world is reserved for those traveling in Upper Class or Delta One and Aeromexico business class passengers. Having status serves little purpose since Skyteam statuses are not recognized and only if you have gold in VS's Flying Club will you have access by traveling in economy.
The only exception is for those who are Platinum Flying Blue or Delta who only have access with a guest if they are traveling in Premium Economy.
Fortunately, these rules do not apply to other clubhouses around the world that are significantly more affordable instead.
