After Moxy, Aloft is the best budget friendly sign in the Marriott portfolio. These hotels originated as Entry level version of the W Hotels, design facilities designed for those who don't want/can't spend big bucks, but are still looking for a hotel with a well-defined soul. I have already visited several hotels in this chain, to date. the best I have found is definitely in Tokyo, but Bangkok's is also a good option for a good night's sleep without spending big bucks.

Aloft Singapore Novena adopts a "different by design" philosophy that supports personality and passion for music. At the entrance to the hotel is a magnificent 2.5-meter crescendo sculpture inspired by musical notes. The stunning sculpture is artfully crafted through the interaction of glass and light to emit a spectrum of colors that visually symbolizes the energy and vitality of each guest entering the hotel. The hotel lobby boasts an 85-inch video wall displaying electronic art by renowned artists such as Refik Anadol and Jonathan Monaghan. Another notable feature are the ceiling panels that provide a visually stimulating light show.
Aloft Singapore Novena Occupies two towers with a total of 781 rooms and four suites, each ranging in size from 18 square meters to 46 square meters. The design of the rooms draws inspiration from the lively workshops found in the historic district, reflecting the charm of Singapore's colorful past. Each room is beautifully furnished with a soft mattress and a 55-inch flat-screen TV. Wi-Fi access along with ample in-room USB charging ports and wireless charging capabilities ensure guests stay perfectly connected during their stay.
Aloft Novena Singapore introduces various dining concepts to satisfy guests' cravings. Yuè, the hotel's modern Chinese restaurant, serves a contemporary twist on traditional Chinese dishes, while 21 on Rajah, a halal-certified buffet restaurant, offers innovative Mediterranean and Asian buffet cuisine that satisfies all palates. The characteristic bar W XYZ of the brand in the lobby is the social hub of the hotel and serves invigorating cocktails and light snacks. For those on the go, Re:fuel by Aloft offers guests the ability to consume 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, a selection of tasty light meals and drinks.
Additional services include the gym Re:charge indoor and outdoor, open 24/7 in the west wing, along with the indoor Re:charge gym in the east wing. Adjacent to the indoor and outdoor gymnasium is the Hotel Splash Pool, where guests can relax and socialize on the outdoor terrace.
