Little news, but mostly an announcement for Beond during its first press conference dedicated to Italy. The all-business airline with an air operator's certificate obtained at the Maldives will open in late March 2024 its first route between Milan Malpensa and Malé.

According to Beond's CEO, Tero Taskila, Milan could be the first of other destinations to enter the airline's network. "The route from Milan is just the beginning and we look forward to being able to draw an expansion in other cities in Italy" the ceo recalled.

Sales for flights from Milan will open in November. Otherwise, pending receipt of the A321ceo, the airline will begin operations with a Airbus A319 just painted in the new e44 livery all Business seats all fully reclining.
