The new promotion allows you to accumulate Up to 2500 bonus points per stay. Accumulation, however, is divided into two phases:
- You get 2000 bonus points for each stay made
- You get an extra 500 points bonus if you use the digital key

What is digital key and how to apply
Many hotels, I would say almost all, allow you to check in from the app. In the appropriate section you can, if you wish, also choose your room.
These hotels also offer digital key, in fact the smartphone turns into the room key and can be used to open the room door, activate the elevator and any other situation where you would normally use the card.
This does not replace the requirement to go through the front desk for document verification, although in some nations where laws allow it, it is "recommended" to go through before entering the room. In fact, the virtual key is activated a few moments after completing check-in.
Is it an interesting promo?
Hilton promos are generally of two types: those that give fixed bonus points and those that multiply points. These two recipes are modified from time to time with extra ingredients.
For my type of stays in these hotels, many and of one maximum two nights, this is the one I prefer since I hardly stay a week (I almost always use points in these cases) and I aim for affordable hotels. Having certain 2500 points is equivalent to a stay of about 250€, so here is that if you stay overnight spending 100€ having 2500 sure bonus points is much better than the multiplier.
In conclusion
Hilton launched the first general promotion for loyalty program members, obviously It costs nothing to sign up, and you should always do it no matter what because if one "forgets" to do so, one will not be able to recover the bonus points left on the road.
