One of our readers sent us a shot of the entrance of the old Alitalia House "Bellini" in Catania International Airport, the news would be, judging by the external rebranding, the possible reopening under the control of ITA Airways.
In this article:
Just as it did with the lounges at Linate e Fiumicino ITA Airways would be working to reopen one of the very few lounges the Italian flag carrier had around Italy. In addition to Catania and the aforementioned waiting rooms in Milan and Rome, only in Venice was there another official Alitalia lounge.
Abroad, on the other hand there was only the Alitalia house in New York. and that today has reopened as the official lounge of Turkish Airlines.
If the news is confirmed, I am curious to see if it will be a simple putty and paint operation, or if we will see a family feel related to the Hangar Lounge at T1 Fiumicino.
