Marriott Bonvoy has launched a promotion to buy points e get a 40% bonus valid until March 31, 2024. This reduces the price to just over 0.80 cents per point.

Certainly when compared to the classic bonus Of Hilton giving away the 100%, a bonus of less than half may not seem attractive, but Marriott is much less generous when it comes to points and bonuses.
Details of the newly launched promotion
- This promotion is valid until 11:59 p.m. on March 31, 2024, being an American program for us want to have a few extra hours due to the time difference
- The minimum purchase amount is 1,000 points.
- Purchase at least 2,000 Marriott points to receive the 40% bonus.
- The maximum annual number of points that can be purchased is 100,000 (140,000 with bonus).
- It may take up to 72 hours for purchased points to be posted to your account.

Never buy points from a loyalty program unless:

It is also good to remember that Bonvoy points expire after 24 months of inactivity, so to postpone for another 2 years the expiration will be enough to make a stay within the 24 months.
How to use Bonvoy points

There are so many ways to use points and get gallatical savings. I, for example I stayed at the Ritz Carlton Reserve in Ubud, Bali., a true paradise on earth. The reservation cost was 89k Bonvoy points per night, while the room price was over 1500 $
Buying points to pay for a stay and saving money is a strategy that can bring great satisfaction. For example, one could take advantage of this promotion to sleep one night in one of the most luxurious hotels in Venice Palazzo Gritti. As you can see a night can cost even more than 2300 euros, or 124k Bonvoy points. Buying points to pay for the same night then poterebbe to an expenditure of just over €1,000.
Of course, the same applies if you want to aim for a stay this summer in Japan, for example, Tokyo, New York or the Maldives.
Given the limit of 100,000 points per account per year, however, which does not count for bonus purposes, it is good to remember that it is possible to transfer points from another Marriott account and circumvent the annual limit through this possibility.
