The Guardia di Finanza has announced a public competition, based on qualifications and examinations, for the recruitment of 15 performers in the Corps' musical band, open to both serving military personnel and eligible Italian citizens.
Rome. The Guardia di Finanza has announced a public competition, based on qualifications and examinations, for the recruitment of 15 performers intended for Musical band of the Corps. The posts are divided by parts and instruments, with separate selection procedures for each qualification.

The competitions involve first, second and third parts of various wind and percussion instruments. Among the positions advertised are the 1st Bb soprano clarinet soloist, the 1st trumpet in high Bb and the 1st sopranino flugelhorn in Mib. For the first A parts. A bass drum is provided for first parts B, with the requirement to also play timpani, xylophone, celeste and vibraphone.
Places are available in the second A parts for the 1st Bb soprano flugelhorn and for the 2nd Bb tenor flugelhorn, the latter with the obligatory bass flugelhorn in Bb. The second B parts include the 2nd flute with piccolo requirement, the 1st Bb soprano clarinet for multiple places and the 2nd tenor trombone.
For third parties A, the announcement provides additional positions of 1st Bb soprano clarinet e 2nd soprano clarinet in Bb. In the third parts B are required the 3rd flute with piccolo requirement, other places of 2nd soprano clarinet in Bb and the 5th horn. It is expressly stated that participation in the competition is also allowed for multiple parts and instruments.
Military personnel already serving in the Guardia di Finanza Corps who have not passed the 45th year of age. The call is also open to Italian citizens, including those already in the military, who have attained the age of 18 years and have not passed the day of their 40th birthday on the date of the application deadline of 12 noon on November 15, 2025. The age limit is raised by five years for servicemen of the Armed Forces, Police Forces and National Fire Service in active service.
All applicants must possess a secondary education diploma enabling enrollment in degree programs at state or legally recognized universities. Also required is the diploma in the instrument for which you are competing, or in a related instrument as provided for in Table H annexed to Legislative Decree No. 79 of February 27, 1991, issued by a state conservatory or similar legally recognized institution.
The application must be completed exclusively through the online procedure available on the portal https://concorsi.gdf.gov.it, following the instructions of the automated system. Contestants must authenticate themselves with one of the provided digital identity systems: SPID or the "Enter with CIE" through the electronic identity card issued by the municipality of residence.
After completing registration on the portal, candidates can access their reserved area, fill out the application form and finalize the submission by following the guided procedure. Further information on the competitions, procedural developments and test results is available on the same portal and through the"GdF Contests" mobile app, downloadable from major digital stores or via QR code on the site.
